Douglas County Attorney Don Kleine says he has charged 20 year old Amanda Heiman with a felony for providing alcohol to Jacob Dickmeyer.
Dickmeyer died December 3rd when the car he was driving rolled, and his passenger, Colby Burke, was injured. Investigators learned that Dickmeyer had been drinking before the accident at the Fire Barn Bar and Grill in Waterloo.
Kleine says Heiman knew Dickmeyer personally and continued serving him alcohol even though she knew he was too young. If convicted, Heiman could face up to five years in prison.
