Omaha police say officers caught two women who stole $150 worth of toys from a children's donation box.
The toys were taken from a Salvation Army donation box at a Wal-Mart in southwest Omaha. A store employee saw the women taking the toys and reported their vehicle license plate, which police tracked down. Police say two women, ages 22 and 25, in the car admitted taking the toys.
The toys were returned to the donation box.
Joanne Bemis with the Salvation Army says the toy donations will go to more than 24,000 families who signed up for holiday help.
