OPPD officials say 21-thousand people were still without power as of 5:00 Thursday afternoon
Initial reports from OPPD Damage Assessment Teams indicate that the majority of the outages should be repaired by late Friday night or early Saturday morning. The hardest hit area was northwest metro area.
Spokesperson Paula Lukowski says there are several smaller repairs and they take longer and are often more difficult than repairing circuits.
She says if your neighbors have power but you do not, that may mean your problem is with your individual service and your restoration will take longer.
