A free concert has been set for May 25th at River's Edge Park on the Iowa side of the Bob Kerrey pedestrian Bridge
The concert is part of the grand opening for the 95 acre park, which will feature plenty of recreation activities.
The back of the concert stage will sit along the riverfront, which will make the Omaha skyline visible to concertgoers. Other activities at River's Edge will include movies and art shows.
American National Bank is sponsoring the concert and is expected to be an annual event. Council Bluffs Mayor Tom Hanafan says the park will be good for both Omaha and Council Bluffs.
