As of 1 p.m. Friday OPPD says that 3,253 customers remain without power
Spokesperson Paula Lukowski says most of the outages are in northwest Omaha. She says work is continuing and crews remain on track to restore power to most of them by Friday night.
Depending on the amount of damage, some may not be restored until early tomorrow morning.
Lukowski says many of the remaining outages affect individual homes. Those repairs can take as long or longer to make than a repair that brings back an entire neighborhood.
