The victim died nine months later
Omaha Police say on November 16, 2011 Damian Cleghorn and another man were shot south of 37th and Ames Avenue. Rashawn Higgins recovered from his injuries. Cleghorn was critically injured and died in August, 2012.
On Monday investigators arrested 21 year old Laron Jones and booked him for 2nd degree murder, attempted murder, two counts of use of a gun to commit a felony and possession of a gun by a prohibited person.
