Sabrina and Lucas Negus of Tilden became the proud parents the four boys on Tuesday
The arrival of Logan, Mason, Porter and Connor marked the first time in two and a half years that quadruplets have been born in Omaha. It's the first time it has happened at the Methodist Women's Hospital near 192nd and West Dodge.
The couple expressed relief that their son's were doing well. Doctor's say carrying four babies is a high risk situation. They were born at 31 weeks and will remain in the hospital for several more weeks.
Sabrina had to stay in her hospital bed for the past 11 weeks. She said it wasn't easy but necessary for the health of her babies. "Going home without babies would be a hell of a lot harder," she said during an afternoon news conference.
The couple says they will have plenty of family support to help them at home.
