Cass Country authorities still searching for suspected shooter
The Cass County Sheriff's Department says 32 year old Michael Green suffered a gunshot wound to the head last night inside a home he shared with 64 year old Steven Harrod.
Investigators say there was argument between Harrod, Green and Green's girlfriend, who also lived in the home owned by Harrod. During the argument, Harrod retrieved a handgun, shot Green in the face and immediately left the scene.
Harrod was driving a White 1999 Ford F250 Super duty pick-up. The vehicle was recovered near 30th and U Street in Lincoln Monday night.
Cass County has issued a warrant for Harrod. He is described as a white male who is 5'11" and weighs 185 pounds. Investigators say he should be considered armed and dangerous and anyone having contact with him should call 911. The investigation is ongoing.
