Omaha police stopped a car early Wednesday morning after the driver ran a red light at 50th and Center and nearly hit a cruiser head-on.
They soon learned that 37-year-old Daniel Cano had 7 prior DUI arrests and was driving on a revoked license. Cano had just been released from prison on January 11th.
This morning police say his blood alcohol level .31, nearly four times the legal limit. Cano was booked for his eighth DUI offense and felony driving under suspension.
