Sydney Kola collapsed in his northwest Omaha apartment last week and died at the hospital
Douglas County Chief Deputy Sheriff Martin Bilek says tests confirm that Sydney Kola did not suffer from either influenza A or B.
An autopsy that was done was inconclusive and investigators are awaiting more test results.
Kola collapsed last Friday morning in his near 175th and West Maple and died a few hours later at the hospital.
Bilek told 1110 KFAB last Friday that Kola complained of flu-like symptoms just hours before he collapsed. Sydney had moved to Omaha from Kenya seven months earlier to live with his mother.
