The Edison Elementary school student was not injured
Council Bluffs Police say the girl had just finished her crossing guard duties near the school Monday afternoon when the 19 year old man approached her, said "what's up" and grabbed one of the girl's arms and began walking with her.
Sergeant Dave Dawson says the girl tried to break free and the man told her "It's o.k." After a brief struggle, the girl was finally able to break free and run to a family member, who was there to pick her up.
Dawson says the girl’s father was then notified and was able to find the man in the area and detain him until police arrived.
Nathan Busse was booked for third degree kidnapping, assault with intent to commit sexual abuse, enticing a minor and child stealing.
