New Signs For Downtown Visitors

The first two Wayfinding signs were unveiled Monday at 10th and Jackson

Joe Gudenrath with the Downtown Improvement District says the 88 signs will easily direct visitors to 27 of Omaha’s attractions throughout the entire downtown corridor.

The signs will also tell visitors how far they are from their destination.  Some of the attractions include TD Ameritrade Park, Century Link Center, Orpheum Theatre, Children's Museum and the Holland Performing Arts Center.

All 88 signs will be installed by the end of March. “With the growth and development of downtown Omaha, this kind of signage is indispensable,” Gudenrath says.
