A 12-month study on the treatment of migraine headaches has just wrapped up at the UNMC College Of Nursing in Lincoln.

Dr. Nancy Waltman is a researcher, and says by adjusting diet, making lifestyle changes and taking medications, her patients saw a significant improvement. The 80 study participants reported a drop in frequency of the severe headaches by 76 percent.

It's estimated that 28 million Americans suffer from migraines.
