54 year old Don Losole of Omaha died Friday night

Investigators say Losole was speeding around 9:45 Tuesday night near 30th Avenue and McKinley.

Police say Losole failed to make the curve and left the roadway.  His car continued through a grassy field, went airborne and struck a tree.  The car then rolled and came to rest behind the Omaha Fire Station on north 30th.

Investigators say Losole was not wearing a seat belt and was thrown from the car.  He suffered serious head injuries and died Friday night at the hospital.
