Investigation Continues In Deadly Bellevue Fire

An eight year old and his grandma were killed early Saturday morning

Bellevue Fire officials and the State Fire Marshal's Office are trying to determine what started the trailer home fire near 29th and Hancock.  Family members told Channel 6 News the grandmother was ill and slept in a chair near a living room space heater.

She and her grandson were found in the living room area.  The names of the victims have not been released.  Three other family members were able to escape. 

A neighbor told Channel 6 that a 15 year old who escaped broke some windows and tried to go back in to save the other two.
