The town has been without water for three weeks.

A local effort is underway to deliver water to the Omaha tribe in Macy.

Katie Vazquez with the St. Robert Bellarmine youth group says they'll try to fill a truck with bottled water this Saturday. "Their whole water supply has been cut off," she said, "and it's contaminated so they can't even boil off water to get clean drinking water. Right now, they've been three weeks without water."

The problems began in late January after a series of water main breaks.

Donations of bottled water, hand sanitizer and baby wipes can be dropped off Saturday from 8am - 12noon at St. Robert's cafeteria at 119th and Pacific Streets.
