Douglas County Sheriff's Deputies found 50 pounds of high quality marijuana during a traffic stop
Deputy Chief Marty Bilek says a deputy stopped an eastbound Ford pickup on I-80 at “Q” Street for following too close on Wednesday afternoon.
The deputy became suspicious and deployed his K9. The dog picked up the scent of drugs on the utility box in the back on the pickup bed.
A subsequent search resulted in the confiscation of about 50 pounds of high quality, BC bud Marijuana. It has a street value of about $250,000.
Nathan Holt of Bend, Oregon was arrested and charged with Possession With Intent to Deliver Marijuana.
