The Henry Doorly Zoo is using Facebook to come up with the names for the five lion cubs born in late December
Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium is hosting a Facebook-only naming contest for the two male and three female African lion cubs. The contest begins Friday, March 8 and continues through March 15.
Visitors will need to become a fan of the Zoo's Facebook page at Facebook.com/OmahaZoo to participate.
The animal keepers that care for the cubs will select the top 20 name submissions. On March 29 the five winners will be announced.
Each winner will receive an annual membership or renewal and other prizes. They will also get to watch a cat training demonstration.
