The Douglas County Sheriff's Department arrested the woman on Thursday evening
Deputy Chief Marty Bilek says 24 year old Sara Cullen has been arrested for felony child abuse resulting in death.
Bilek says Cullen was the nanny for four month old Cash Bell. She took the boy to Women’s Methodist Hospital last Thursday suffering from significant head trauma. Cash was then airlifted to Children's Hospital. He died five days later on March 5th.
Cullen was taken into custody around 8:00 Thursday night at a friend's home near 108th and Blondo. If convicted, Cullen faces 20 years to life in prison.
