It happened early Friday morning near the Henry Doorly Zoo.
An Omaha woman is recovering from head injuries and a broken ankle after getting hit by a car.
Investigators say Anita Kincaid-Neal was crossing from a parked car on the east side of 13th Street and south of Atlas Street, where she was struck by a car headed north. The driver of the car, Keghan Albers, was cited for drunk driving.
Police say the pedestrian, Kincaid-Neal, was also drunk.
