A winter weather advisory is in effect for metro area
It will be a snowy Sunday across eastern Nebraska. The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisroy from 7 a.m to 7 p.m.
Rain is expected to change to snow by sunrise. 2-4 inches of snow is expected. Strong northwest winds could gust to around 40 miles per hour beginning late Saturday night.
The strong winds may reduce visibilities to a half mile or less.
