A special presentation allowed St. Wenceslaus students to get up close and personal with a number of wild animals

Longtime Mutual of Omaha Wild Kingdom tv show hosts Jim Fowler and Peter Gros showed off the animals, including a kangaroo, honey bear and timberwolf.

The special presentation helped educate more than 800 kindergarten through eighth grade students on how they can protect the natural world and the wild animals that share it with us.

Students got to hold some of the creatures and watched a kangaroo bounce around the gynmasium.
