Omaha Police say a one year boy was strangled by a seat belt
Omaha Police say back on February 22 officers were called to an unlicensed day care to check on an unresponsive child.
Investigators say 33 year old Elizabeth Harding was operating the daycare and providing care to one year old Chase Hunter. Police say earlier that day Harding had put chase in his car seat to sleep without buckling the harness.
While sleeping, police say Chase had shuffled himself around in the car seat and the harness wrapped around his neck causing him to die of strangulation.
Harding has been booked at the Douglas County Department of Corrections for child neglect resulting in death.
