Former Sen. Ben Nelson is scheduled to join a University of Nebraska at Omaha professor in lecturing about partisanship and U.S. foreign policy.
The university says Nelson and professor Jonathan Benjamin-Alvarado on Thursday will deliver a lecture titled ``The Impact of Hyper-partisanship on American Foreign Policy.'' A question-and-answer session will follow. The lecture is not open to the public.
Beginning this semester, Nelson is the UNO Political Science Department's politician-in-residence. As part of his responsibilities he'll be team teaching an upper-division course.
