Humane Society officials are contacting Nebraska Game and Parks, to determine which wildlife laws have been broken.
Nebraska Humane Society officials say it looks like a major case of poaching in West Omaha. Twenty-three ducks, all shot and mostly intact, were dumped in a neighborhood near 159th and Giles Road.
The Humane Society's Mark Langan says "the breast plates of some of the ducks have been removed, but most of the ducks were intact, so we're not really sure why these ducks were shot, and then simply dumped."
Langan says they're contacting Nebraska Game and Parks, to determine which wildlife laws have been broken.
