Omaha Police say a female patient pulled a gun in the back of the rescue squad.
Lt. Darci Tierney says around 3:30 this afternoon paramedics were called to a convenience store at 48th and L Street to transport a woman who was suffering a seizure to the hospital.
Tierney says the rescue squad was just south of 42nd and Center when the woman pulled a gun and shots were fired. The firefighter suffered a graze wound and was taken to Nebraska Medical Center.
The woman was taken to Alegent Creighton University Medical Center in critical condition. Tierney says none of the injuries are life threatening.
