An Omaha firefighter was treated and released on Monday after being shot in the back of a rescue squad.
Omaha Police say 24 year old Justine Dubois pulled a gun in the back of a rescue squad as she was being transported to the hospital.
Police say paramedics were called to 48th and L Street around 3:00 Monday afternoon for a woman having a seizure. While enroute to the hospital, Dubois is accused of pulling out a gun near 42nd and Center and the gun went off.
The unidentified firefighter suffered a graze wound to his stomach. He was released from the hospital Monday night. Dubois suffered a leg wound and will survive.
