The new state of the art technology includes ribbon panels and control room
CenturyLink officials unveiled the $6 million in new technology on Wednesday. The scoreboard is the first in the country to use 4 and 6 mm pixel configuration, providing 2700 percent better resoultion.
The scoreboard, made by Daktronics, covers nearly three-fourths of a basketball court and is equal to 270 60 inch televisions.
The indoor/outdoor signs have also been updated and there is a new state-of-the-art control room. The scoreboard will make it's first appearance during the River City Rodeo in September.
