Christopher Phelps pleaded no contest in June to two counts of motor vehicle homicide.
An Omaha man has been sentenced to 20 years in prison for a crash last year that killed his girlfriend's two young daughters.
Christopher Phelps received the sentence Tuesday. He may be eligible for release after 10 years.
Authorities say Phelps was driving drunk in October when he drove the girls' mother and her three daughters to their home in north Omaha. The car crashed and ejected 5-year-old Mela Skye Torry and 4-year-old Laela Torry-Tooley.
