Sources said the gun used to kill Andrea Kruger is the same weapon that was used in two separate Omaha murders in the last few weeks
Update - Channel 6 News reports Nikko Jenkins is being questioned by Douglas County investigators regarding the murder of Andrea Kruger earlier this month at 168th and Fort Street. Omaha police also want to question Jenkins in connection to the murders of Curtis Bradford, Jorge Cajiga-Ruiz and Juan Uribe-Pena. All three men were killed after Jenkins was released from prison on July 30th.
Jenkins was arrested Thursday at the Tudor Apartments at 108th and West Maple on an unrelated warrant of making terrorist threats to another Omaha woman.
Jenkins sister, Erica Jenkins was arrested earlier this week on an unrelatred Sarpy County warrant. Authorities also want to question her and another woman about the murders. Jenkins mother is also on a list of people to be questioned.
A man behind bars for threatening an Omaha family may be having a talk with authorities about several murders... including that of Andrea Kruger. She'd been on her way home from work when she was shot and killed on August 21st.
Nikko Jenkins had just gotten out of jail a month ago after serving nine years for robbery. Sources told Channel 6 News they had been watching Jenkins, due to a possible connection to Kruger's murder.
