Douglas County Department of Corrections officials say a 34 year old woman died Tuesday night.
Corrections officers found 34 year old Amanda Solko of Omaha unresponsive in her cell at the Douglas County Department of Corrections Tuesday night.
Medical staff was alerted and 911 was called. The Omaha Fire Department transported Solko to Alegent Health-Creighton University Medical Center where she later died.
Solko had been held on $50-thousand bond since October 1. She was charged with driving during a license revocation.
The Douglas County Sheriff’s office is conducting an investigation as required by state law.
