THIS SEGMENT from a few weeks ago explains everything in hilarious detail, but here's the short, short version:  "Super Producer" Randy Mack was in a bad car accident years ago as a teen, and needed a glass eye.  He's supposed to go get it cleaned every few years or so ... he's waited 10.  So, he was off this morning as they had to assemble a new eyeball for him, or something like that.

Here's the picture he sent me, with this description:  At the bottom is my old eye and at the top, the pink thing with the little metal thing sticking out is the start of the mold of my new one!
