During this morning's conversation about whether you'd rather your child grow up to be valedictorian or prom royalty, a listener pointed out this great story from Lincoln Southeast this month:

From the article:
When Brianna Dierks won the title of Prom Queen at Lincoln Southeast High School, she was happy, honored and humbled. Then she saw Amanda, a fellow student also up for the honor.
“She was just really sad, she wanted to try it on and I saw how happy it made her so I just told her to keep it,” Dierks said.

On the evening of Tuesday, May 21st, two people will meet for the first time at the next 1110 KFAB Gourmet Club at Johnny's Italian Steakhouse (details on the sold-out event below).
One will be Ashley:
Ashley is a 29-yr-old director of a local charitable event.
She's also very brave, as she has agreed to join us in the studio tomorrow (Friday, May 3rd) at 10:05 a.m. and be the first contestant in the KFAB Dating Game (aka "The Pack of Love").
She, Lucy, Randy, and I will screen your calls, gentlemen, to help Ashley determine who will accompany her to the Gourmet Club. We will ask probing questions, and you will be allowed to chat up Ashley as well.
If you are selected for this esteemed honor, you will join us for dinner at Johnny's Italian Steakhouse within Village Pointe on the 21st at 6:30 p.m. Your meal will be on the house (if you want to buy Ashley a glass of wine, that's on you -- my generosity only goes so far when we're talking about money!).
So, a free meal at a great restaurant with a beautiful woman while being gawked at by members of KFAB Nation who will no doubt be staring at you guys from the next table over. And, who knows -- maybe you two will hit it off!
Ashley is brave enough to play tomorrow ... are you? Call in starting at 10:05 a.m.: 402-558-1110 or 800-543-1110.
