Law enforcement in Kearney say a Tennessee teacher accused of abducting a fifteen year old girl may have been seen at a local fast food restaurant.
Tad Cummins is accused of kidnapping Elizabeth Thomas, a former student, on March 13th. Cummins was under investigation at the of the abduction for having an inappropriate relationship with the teen.
Sunday night Kearney Police posted photos on their Facebook page of a man and young girl who match the descriptions of Cummins and Thomas. The two were spotted at a Kearney restaurant. T
hey also released photos of a possible suspect vehicle, a red Chevy Silverado. The pair may also be in a 2015 Nissan Rogue with Tennessee plate 976-ZPT.
Authorities say Cummins may be armed with two handguns.
Kearney Police ask the public use extreme caution, but urge anyone with information to immediately call 911.
