Sir Paul McCartney will be playing in Omaha on July 23rd at the CenturyLink Center. McCartney's music has stood the test of time, and his concert will undoubtedly be a hot ticket for fans.
Homer's Music Store General Manager Mike Fratt tells NewsRadio 1110 KFAB they expect to see an increase in McCartney's record sales at the store as his show draws closer. "We do see a spike in sales surrounding the actual date, particularly the day of or the day after. Being down here in the Old Market, a lot of people come from out of town to see a show at the CenturyLink or Slowdown, and then they'll come and shop the next day."
Fratt says there is always interest in The Beatles records, but McCartney has also been re-releasing a lot of his music and that keeps people enthusiastic about his work after all these years. "Paul in particular, has regained the rights to all of his recordings and is working with Concord Records and has been in the process over the last couple years of reissuing his entire solo catalog."
