An Omaha woman was killed after being run over by a U-Haul in west Omaha Saturday afternoon.
Police say 48-year old Camille Jackson was in the midst of moving and was seated inside the 2008 box style U-Haul truck. While she was in the drivers seat, a man in a Chevy Silverado pick up stopped in front of her house residence looking for someone in the area.
Investigators say as Jackson got out of the truck to speak with the man, it began rolling down the driveway out of gear.
Jackson and her husband tried to stop the U-haul from hitting the Chevy truck, at which point she was run over. Jackson was pronounced dead at the scene.
