There is good news for Creighton basketball fans. Head coach Greg McDermott tweeted Thursday morning that he will not be leaving Omaha anytime soon.
McDermott was a top candidate for the head coach position at Ohio State University.
Multiple national sports news outlets reported that McDermott met with OSU officials Wednesday night, where they offered him the job.
McDermott's tweet Thursday shut down any rumblings that he may be leaving Creighton after seven years with the Bluejays.
