Three Dead In Omaha Motorcycle Crash

Omaha Police say three people were killed when two motorcycles collided at 72nd and Cass around 11:30 Saturday night.

Investigators say a Harley Davidson was southbound on 72nd Street and was stopped at a red light.  After getting the green light, the Harley began to proceed through the intersection.  At the same time, an eastbound Suzuki driven by 24 year old Andrew Torrice ran a red light and slammed into the Harley,

Torrice and the two people on the Harley, 34 year old Adam Kammann and 37 year old Christine Zadina, were all pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say all three riders were wearing DOT approved helmets and that excessive speed by the Suzuki was a factor in the crash.
