Eppley Will Offer First International Flight This Spring

Eppley Airfield will begin offering its first-ever international flight next spring.  The daily nonstop flight to Toronto will begin May 1 and will be operated by Air Canada and will be the first foreign airline to offer service to and from Omaha.

The flight will leave Toronto at 2:30 p.m. and land in Omaha at 4 p.m. The return flight will leave Omaha at 4:30 p.m. and land in Toronto at 7:50 p.m.  Air Canada will fly this new route with a 50-seat CRJ-200 aircraft.

“The Omaha Airport Authority is thrilled that Air Canada has chosen Omaha as it's next U-S city with this new international service," spokesman Steve McCoy says.  "The new flight will offer opportunities for Omaha business and leisure travelers not only to Toronto and other destinations in Canada, but also throughout Air Canada's extensive and growing global network."

McCoy says the service schedule is very conducive to making European connections.
