Threat Investigated At Papillion-LaVista High School

Papillion La Vista High School officials sent parents a note Tuesday afternoon informing them that a student was arrested for making a threat against the school.

The threat came in the form of a Snapchat picture showing a gun, pills, and bullets with a caption saying "The 5th... BYE BYE MONARCHS"

After being made aware of the threat the school contacted police and according to the letter, the student was ticketed.

In the letter to parents, the school said that this type of behavior will not be tolerated and that there is no danger to students at that time.

A similar threat was also made in early November listing December 5th as the date of the threat.
