A police investigation shut down northbound Highway 75 early Monday morning.
Omaha Police say the North Freeway was closed between Hamilton and Lake Streets after a man went to the CHI Health Medical Center on 24th & Cuming as a walk-in shooting victim. Authorities say the victim, 27 year old Marvell Minor, was transported to Bergan Mercy in critical condition.
It is believed Minor was shot in the area of Highway 75 and Hamilton. Police are investigating the area and say the highway will likely be closed throughout the morning rush hour drive.
