A security guard at Big Jim's Convenience Store at 30th and Ames Avenue was rushed to a hospital in critical condition after a shooting around 1:45 Saturday morning.
There are reports that the guard was shot four or five times in the chest. WOWT 6 News reports his injuries are considered life threatening. His name has not been released.
The suspect took off running after the shots were fired and police continue the search.
