Man Arrested In Shooting Of Store Security Guard

Omaha Police have arrested a 44-year-old man for the shooting that critically inured a security guard late last month

Ronald Williams was booked for 1st degree felony assault, gun used in a felony, possession of a gun by a prohibited person and possession of narcotics with intent to distribute.

Investigators said Williams shot 62 year old Keith McNeese at Big Jim's near 30th and Ames.  When officers arrived they found that McNeese had been shot several times.  He was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

McNeese had been working security for Big Jim's when, police say, Williams came into the store and fired several shots.
