A man was seriously injured and another is on the run following a two vehicle crash on I-480 near Martha late Wednesday night. Omaha Police say around 9:00 p.m. a Dodge Caravan was stalled in one of the southbound lanes of I-480 just south of Martha Street when it was rear ended by a 2007 Ford Econoline van
The Dodge had it's hazard lights on at the time. The driver, 60 year old Kelly Mulligan, suffered back, chest and abdomen injuries. He was taken to the hospital in serious condition but is expected to survive.
The driver of the Ford fled the scene on foot. The only description was a man wearing a brown coat and stocking cap.
