Man Wanted For Council Bluffs Murder Arrested In Des Moines

One of two people accused of murdering a Council Bluffs man was arrested in Des Moines Friday morning. Council Bluffs Police confirmed to NewsRadio 1110 KFAB that Nicholas Haner of Harlan is in custody.

Haner is facing charges for killing 38 year old Adam Angeroth in January. Des Moines Police say Haner was spotted in a car in a north side neighborhood, and ran when he saw police. He was quickly caught.

Angeroth’s body was found inside his apartment at 35 North 1st Street on January 24th. His family had not heard from him in several days.

Another man, 21 year old Liam Stec, is already in jail on unrelated charges.
