Sarpy County announces that progress is being made but for safety and security, restrictions remain in place for a number of evacuated communities.A reminder that the Sarpy County Sheriff's Office will arrest anyone who drives around posted barricades or who accesses the restricted areas anywhere other than the posted checkpoints.
Access to Hawaiian Village is limited to daytime hours only. OPPD employees and Sarpy County teams will be in that area starting today to check electrical services.Customers with questions about service disconnection or billing should call 402-536-4131.
There are safety concerns at Betty Lake, Chris Lake and Hanson Lakes and no access is being granted at this time.
The Sarpy County Unified Command Team has an access control plan in place to allow residents to enter the restricted area.That will be released when the areas are ready.
