A man is recovering after apparently pulling in front of a semi while riding a bicycle Sunday evening on Highway 75 and Fox Farm Road. Douglas County Sheriff's Department deputies were called to the scene around 6 p.m.
Video from the cab of the semi shows the driver merging into the left lane. Other drivers had done the same thing after seeing the bicyclist riding on the shoulder but weaving. The cyclist then apparently served into the right traffic lane and was hit by the semi.
The bicyclist did suffer head injuries. Investigators say that the cyclist may had been drinking prior to the accident.
