A town hall meeting to recap this spring's historic flood will be held Monday night at city hall in Valley, one of the communities initially hit the hardest.
The meeting will run from 6:00 to 7:30. Those attending the meeting will hear from experts from several agencies, including the Corps of Engineers, Papio-Missouri River Natural Resources District, Nebraska Department of Transportation and Douglas County Emergency Management.
They will be there to give an overview of the flood, discuss how and why it happened, provide a progress report on recovery and offer guidance on moving forward
