Driver Arrested After Hitting House In Irvington

Douglas County Sheriff's Investigators say a pickup crashed into a home at 92nd and Summit in Irvington around 7:30 Monday morning.

There were six individuals inside the home at the time and no one was hurt.

The driver of the pickup, Mangal Subba is in custody.Investigators say he went round a corner too fast, lost control, the truck jumped the curb and hit the house. Subba was booked for reckless driving but also is accused of refusing to submit to a chemical test and with trying to bribe a peace officer.

Several homes were evacuated as a precaution due to a possible gas line rupture.MUD crews were called to handle that situation.

The investigation continues.
