A 16 year old pleaded guilty to 2nd degree murder in the death of Adam Angeroth of Council Bluffs last January. Xavier Smith-Catchings of Omaha will be sentenced at a later date but faces up to 50 years in prison.
Three others connected to the murder, Nicholas Haner, Ryan McDonald and Liam Stec were all sentenced to 50 years in prison for their pleas to Second Degree Murder.
Angeroth's body was found on January 24th. An autopsy shows he died of blunt force trauma and had been stabbed.
